A woman was killed after being hit by a car at Alemany Blvd. and San Juan St. in the SF Mission. The pedestrian was struck at night as she was crossing the busy intersection. Previous accidents prompted a citizen to petition for a stop sign at the crossing where green pedestrian alert signs already exist.
